SnapScape (“SnapScape”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides AI-powered landscape and garden design features through the SnapScape mobile application.
1. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account information, such as your email address, name, sign-in identifiers, and profile details you provide.
- User content, including photos you upload, prompts, style selections, generated outputs, and project data.
- Subscription information, including product identifiers, entitlement status, and purchase-related metadata provided by Apple.
- Technical and diagnostic information, including app version, device and operating system details, bundle ID, crash logs, and usage diagnostics.
- Support communications you send to us.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- authenticate accounts and operate the app;
- generate AI landscape concepts and related outputs;
- store and sync projects;
- manage subscription access;
- provide support;
- monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
3. Cloud processing and AI providers
When you upload a photo or submit a prompt, that content may be transmitted to and processed by our backend services hosted with Firebase and by Google's Gemini services to generate results. If Gemini is used through paid services, Google states that prompts and responses are not used to improve Google's products, though limited logging may still occur for safety, security, and legal purposes.
4. Firebase services
SnapScape uses Firebase as part of its backend. Depending on the Firebase products enabled in the app, Firebase may process technical identifiers and service metadata such as app bundle ID, app version, device and OS information, authentication identifiers, crash diagnostics, messaging tokens, performance data, and other service-related metadata necessary to operate those services.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate SnapScape, such as hosting, authentication, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, and AI processing providers. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data retention
We retain account data and project content while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backup, and fraud prevention. If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify data unless retention is required by law.
7. Your choices
- You can update profile details inside the app where available.
- You can contact support at snapscapesupport@gmail.com.
- If the app offers account deletion, you can initiate deletion from within the app. This is important because Apple requires in-app account deletion for apps that let users create accounts.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
9. Children
SnapScape is not directed to children under 13.
